“I think Frantic F Emme is one of the great unsung heroines of contemporary art. No one tries harder to create a universe of peace and pleasure. All the while living a personal and private life of infinite challenge.” (Larry Litt, The Blame Show)

“It’s Frantic Femme meets Pam Grier! Instead of a gun, it’s her camera. Dare to be captured by her alluring spell and if you can catch her, we need proof, ‘cause she’ll be gone before you know it… post on fb or twitter or her page. Only at the Vernissage March 4th 6-10pm. PooL Art Fair New York 2011“ (Savannah Spirit, NYC Curator)

“Surrounding the personal photographic works of Frantic Femme is her passion for the historical and contemporary views of female identity in our American society. Frantic develops striking bodies of work that stem from subjects of both popular culture and experimental processes. Literal and abstract, Frantic’s focus on bold forms and seductive compositions are derivative of the human condition and visual narrative, a commentary on the shocking, the sexy, the profane, and the beautiful, captivating viewers and opening doors for cultural and social conversation.
Frantic’s professional work is an aesthetic extension of the subjects and people she photographs. Location shoots and studio-based work covers many events and subject matter such as conceptual art, weddings, couples and families, traditional portraits, actor headshots, on-set movie productions, and photojournalism.” ~Mariano Films

“If I were a t.v. producer I’d try to put together a weekly series based on what I’ve seen and what my imagination conjures up about the life of a camera-clicking single mom in her 30s who balances mothering a precocious young son, work, housekeeping (or what passes for it), social events and a little ‘me’ time all at a frantic pace and always ready to click a pic of an ordinary moment that can be tranformed into an extraordinary piece of photographic art. Sort of a comedy/drama aimed at the hip 25-40ish crowd.” ~W. Hall
